Ilene Marie Tarter, 77, of Decatur (formerly of Mt. Pulaski) passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at Aspen Ridge Care Center in Decatur.
Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM Tuesday May 31, 2011 at Dawson & Wikoff Funeral Home North on Highway 51in Decatur, with graveside service following immediately at Macon County Memorial Park Cemetery in Harristown.
Ilene was born on August 19, 1933 in Macoupin County, IL the daughter of Lee Beryl Range and Daisy Marie Brown. She married Marion Delmar Tarter in Brenham, TX on December 27, 1977 and he preceded her in death on January 25, 1981. Ilene worked for the Illinois House of Representatives in Springfield, IL and finished her working career in the banking industry in South Florida. Ilene was a member of the American Business Women's Association.
Ilene is survived by her son Raymond L. (Nancy) Fulk of Palm Springs, FL;
daughter-in-law Alice Fulk; granddaughters: Tanaha Fulk Koontz, Beth Ann Fulk and Vanesa Fulk; grandson Roger Lee Fulk, Jr.; great granddaughters: Jessica Koontz and Jillian Koontz; great grandson Jason Koontz; all of FL.
Ilene was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Roger L. Fulk on July 31, 2005, three brothers, one sister.
